Here's another fun assignment I just illustrated for art director Peter Curry at The Hollywood Reporter. It's of Reed Hastings, founder of Netflix. Below are all of the sketches I drew before we decided on the final concept and composition.
I recently illustrated this piece for Brant Louck at Flex Magazine. The article for the March issue is about occlusion training which involves tying bands around muscles to deprive them of blood flow while weight training. It's always fun working with Brant because he pushes me to take everything from muscles to expressions a step further.
Singer Zeb Malik from POPO for Philadelphia Weekly. I was pretty sick when I drew this but focusing on all this hair was a good distraction from feeling like death. Also notice the nod to Kurt Cobain and Daniel Johnston...not very subtle but worth mentioning.
Bush is getting elect-shunned during these primary debates. I wonder why?? They're broke, there's two of them, and....they're both kind of racist. The 700 Club must refer to how many millions of dollars he's made selling the profitable word of God.
I recently created this illustration for Art Director Kristin Lenz at the Washington Post for an article on how red state heroes are appealing to blue state television watchers. This is Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead.
