I was recently contacted to illustrate 8 portraits for ESPN's Scale 1 to 10 page. Thanks to Art Director Munehito Sawada for the fun assignment that kept me too busy to worry about hurricane Irene.

1971 illustration for City Paper

This is for an article on the new show the Peabody Institute is putting on. The music will be more classical takes on songs written by musicians like Led Zeppelin and Steve Reich. In 71 they were looking to the east for influence and one line that stuck out to me was about how they were all breathing the same air.
